Shooting USA & Midway USA sponsors 'Wednesday Night at the Range' tv shows
If you get the 'Outdoor Channel' set some time aside next Wednesday night. Seems like it pretty much ran from late afternoon to late evening - depending upon your timezone.
From 'The Best Defense' to 'Shooting Gallery by Crimson Trace' to 'Shooting USA's Impossible Shots' to 'American Rifleman (NRA)' and 'Sighting in by Shooting USA' to 'American Guardian - (show about the AMU's train the trainer)'. Here is the Outdoor Channels 'daily schedule' page: http://www.outdoorchannel.com/Schedule.aspx Just thought I would let the 'shooters' out there know that there are TONS of shows. I watched 'Best Defense' and it was pretty good, included some hand to hand. The 'Impossible Shots' was a remix of some older shows. Didn't see the American Guardian', which I'm going to try and catch next time. It's about the Army Marksman Unit 'train the trainer' program. I have a buddy of mine that spent a couple of years with the AMU. I still have the patch he gave me. ANYWAY, it seems like that there will be some new shows starting in the next couple of weeks. Specifically about 'survival' in different settings from one on one to in your house to in your town or city. THAT might be worth the time in and of itself. SO if you like to watch these types of shows, the Outdoor Channel on Wednesday is for you. Set your Tivo (dvr) accordingly. |

yes...this is a excellent series of shows on. I just wish it wasn't on during Mark Keornke's weapons weds.
Great shows though! Last night I learned a few things to try out pistol grip wise. I also LOVE the commercials during the breaks. THUGS gettting blown away!!! lol.:signs1: |

The only thing I miss from cable is the outdoors shows.....and some of the HBO stuff.
Still, been cable free for 6 years. Now with DSL and a variety of online content who really needs cable? |
